Decent alternative

I like this app to have kept using it over the official Facebook app. It respects my phones battery life and it doesnt keep an ever-growing cache that I cant clear.
Despite these positives Ive considered going back to the regular FB app multiple times as there seems to be little improvement with this app from update to update.
Sometimes on my very stable and fast connection the app will refuse to update or load more posts. Id also like there to be a feature that when I hold down on a link that I be given the option to open in safari as this apps internet browser is pretty bad. After clicking on the link I can click the more button then click more again then scroll to the open in safari option which is way too much.
My biggest gripe with the app is the notification it gives every time I close it. Im okay with the app not sending push notifications when its closed but its extremely annoying to be reminded of that every time I close the app. PLEASE remove that.
